TbmLib Privacy Policy & Data Protection

Last updated: October 2026 Β· Effective Immediately

1. Information We Collect

TbmLib is engineered as a privacy-first brass acoustics workstation. We do not require account registration to access our slide position charts, drone synthesizer, or orchestral excerpt guides.

  • Local Preference Storage: Clef selections, pitch standard (440/442Hz), and audio volume are stored strictly in your local browser storage.
  • Anonymous Telemetry: Minimal aggregated traffic metrics used solely to optimize edge CDN latency and page reliability.

2. Cookies & Session Integrity

We comply with modern ePrivacy and GDPR consent standards. Cookies on TbmLib are strictly limited to:

  • Preserving your chosen language route (EN / ZH / DE / JA) across navigation.
  • Protecting edge endpoints from automated spam and CSRF abuse.

3. Microphone & Web Audio Privacy

When using the chromatic tuner inside our practice studio, microphone audio streams are processed 100% locally inside your browser Web Audio API context. Zero audio data is ever recorded or uploaded to any server.
